A mechanic hired to replace a defective window switch on a vehicle was completely shocked when he discovered how much the replacement part was selling for online.
Sparks posted a video on TikTok to share his drama after receiving a 2011 Toyota Avalon with a faulty driver-side door window switch.
“Okay, I had to make a video about this because it’s crazy. We have a 2011 Toyota Avalon here, diagnosing […] the driver-side window switch,” he began in the clip.
He then walked over to his desk and started searching for replacement parts online. That’s when he discovered that the auto parts distributor NAPA was charging over $1,200 for a new switch.
